VERIFIED GROSS MASS
SOLAS approves two alternative methods for verifying the gross mass of packed shipping containers, You must either:
METHOD 1 - Weigh the packed container using certified, calibrated equipment OR
METHOD 2 - Weigh all contents, including securing material, and adding the tare mass of the container to the sum of the single masses, using a certified method.
Cindicium’s CLAW is an affordable certified METHOD 1 technology that enables you to easily weigh your packed container on the ground or on a truck, in under 15 minutes.
